I won't be focusing on midterm or final exam strips every semester, but, given that this is the first big test for the characters, it seemed appropriate to spend some time on tests.

I think exam strips are a bit tricky to do, since the "action" consists mostly of characters sitting down, thinking, and writing things down. Thus, it's not surprising that this week's strips rely a bit more on text than prior ones.
