Since the day he was born, Jon knew he was set apart from you ignorant rabble. For you see, he was an Artist. Having been writing comics since minutes after his birth, Jon has always been a childhood progeny. Touched, nay fondled by the muse, her tender gropings eventually reach his soft underbelly, causing him to vomit forth a torrent of inspiration and song. Having seen the horrors of the plebian lifestyle, Jon is a visionary who is far above the work of the mundane. He hopes to use his Art to someday fourthwallinfinitecanvas, and with what little free time he has, he writes parodies of pretentious artist bios, using humor to hide his own pretentiousness and cynicism.
More seriously, Jon writes and colors Where Am I Now? and is finishing a graduate degree in linguistics. When he is not working or comicking, he practices photography, plays video games, and otherwise goofs off.
If you are enjoying "Where Am I Now," I recommend a few of the things that have influenced its creation, and am always happy to discuss them or whatever else.
Firefly, Futurama, A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr, and Bob the Angry Flower by Stephen Notley.
